Supply Chain Veteran Assumes Company Helm, With New Sales and Marketing Leaders to Drive Business
Princeton, NJ – Systech International, a global leader in serialization, traceability, and brand protection technologies, announced today that Lou Arace is now President and Chief Operating Officer. Robert DeJean will continue with the company as founder and CEO. Additionally, two new executive hires were recently made to more closely align the sales and marketing functions to Systech’s growth plans – Bruce Bleiman has been hired as Senior Vice President, Sales, and Erin Dunkel has been hired as Vice President, Marketing.
The change in the company’s executive leadership will allow Mr. DeJean to lead strategic functions for Systech and to capitalize on driving growth and exploring opportunities for new business. He states, “Lou is the right person to build on Systech’s 30-plus years of industry success in serialization, and to expand our newer offerings in traceability and anti-counterfeiting software. Systech understands the value of building trust, protecting brands, and even saving lives with the software we provide to customers that want brand protection. Lou’s experience in the industry and passion for our business should give our customers the confidence they need to work with Systech on ensuring the uniqueness of their brands.”
In the role of President and COO of Systech International, Mr. Arace will build on his more than 20 years of global experience in operations, supply chain management, product development, and customer fulfillment in a wide variety of industries. A proven leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving sustainable growth in both revenue and profitability, Arace has been with Systech since 2014. He joined Systech from Dorman Products Inc., where he served as supply chain senior vice president. Prior to Dorman, he served as a partner at Logistics Resources International and chief supply chain officer for NutriSystem. Arace holds an M.B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. from Messiah College.
The additional executive team members who recently joined Systech include Bruce Bleiman, a senior sales leader who will head the global field, inside sales and alliance/channel teams, and Erin Dunkel, a B2B marketing leader who will head the company’s marketing, public relations and communications functions.

Mr. Bleiman brings more than 30 years of senior sales leadership to his role as Senior Vice President, Sales. Prior to joining Systech, Bleiman held roles as Vice President of Sales at Campus Management and Evisions Inc. Bruce enjoyed a 20-year career with Ellucian and its predecessor companies, SunGard Higher Education, Systems and Computer Technology Corporation (SCT) and Applied Business Technologies (ABT). During his tenure, he was responsible for various sales leadership roles with increasing responsibilities, culminating as Senior Vice President of North America Customer Relationships. Mr. Bleiman holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University.
Ms. Dunkel brings more than 25 years in global marketing organizations to her role of Vice President, Marketing. Before joining Systech, she led marketing/PR efforts at global technology companies including Binary Tree, DecisionOne, SunGard, SAP and HP. Her past marketing roles in healthcare, retail and non-profits and as head of a marketing consulting firm led to increased demand and more vibrant brands. Ms. Dunkel earned a M.S. in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Spanish from the College of William and Mary.
